Born and raised in the Hunter Valley, I pride myself on a genuine love for people and have a positive, easy going nature.

I thrive in teamwork environments and like to inject a light-hearted humours touch to social situations as I think this is a great tool for building connections and fostering collaboration.

I’ve cultivated a love for storytelling from a young age. I remember when I was ten years old I came out with my own magazine called ‘Sweetie Boost’ distributed to my family members who were the unsuspecting interviewees for my articles.

My skills and thankfully ethics around interviewing people and writing articles has grown immensely since then.

Along side studying communication I have also been studying law for the past three years. Although I’ve decided to defer my law degree at the end of this year to explore a career in journalism this experience studying law has only helped to strengthen my research skills and writing.

I’m a bit of a perfectionist but a committed student and pride myself on putting 110% effort into the work I produce, especially that which is displayed on this website.

Mere months away from graduating from my Communication degree I’m eager to obtain some experience in the field of journalism!
